CareVitra is a prescription medication primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men - a condition where a man has difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection firm enough for satisfactory sexual activity.

HOW IT WORKS

The active ingredient in CareVitra is Vardenafil. It belongs to a class of medications called PDE5 inhibitors (phosphodiesterase type-5 inhibitors). When a man is sexually aroused, his body releases nitric oxide, which creates a chemical called cGMP. This chemical relaxes the smooth muscles and widens blood vessels in the penis, allowing blood to rush in and cause an erection. Normally, an enzyme called PDE5 breaks down cGMP to end the erection.

Vardenafil blocks (inhibits) the PDE5 enzyme from breaking down cGMP too quickly. By keeping cGMP active longer, blood vessels remain relaxed and open, allowing increased blood flow to the penis.

CareVitra will not work on its own. Physical or mental sexual stimulation is absolutely required to trigger the initial release of nitric oxide.

HOW TO TAKE

Always follow the precise dosing instructions provided by your healthcare provider. Take the tablet by mouth approximately 60 minutes before planning any sexual activity. It typically stays active in the body for up to 4 to 5 hours. Do not take CareVitra more than once every 24 hours. It can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with a high-fat meal may delay how quickly it starts working. Avoid drinking alcohol heavily, as it can impair your ability to get an erection and worsen side effects.

SIDE EFFECTS

Most side effects associated with Vardenafil are mild to moderate and temporary. Such common side effects may occur: headache, facial flushing (warmth or redness of the face and neck), stuffy or runny nose, indigestion or upset stomach, dizziness.

Serious side effects:

Priapism (an erection that is painful or lasts longer than 4 hours). Left untreated, this can cause permanent damage to penile tissue.

Sudden vision changes - a sudden decrease or complete loss of vision in one or both eyes (associated with a rare condition called NAION).

Sudden hearing issues - a sudden decrease or loss of hearing, often accompanied by ringing in the ears (tinnitus) or severe dizziness.

Allergic reactions - hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.

WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS

You must never take CareVitra if you use nitrate medications (like Nitroglycerin, Isosorbide Dinitrate) for chest pain, or recreational poppers (Amyl Nitrate). Combining them causes a sudden, life-threatening drop in blood pressure.

Tell your doctor before taking CareVitra if you have a history of heart attack, stroke, or life-threatening heart rhythms within the last 6 months; uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, or a history of chest pain (angina); liver disease or kidney disease (your doctor may need to adjust your dose); bleeding disorders or stomach ulcers; physical deformities of the penis (such as Peyronie's disease); an eye condition called retinitis pigmentosa.

STORAGE

Keep CareVitra in its original packaging to protect it from moisture. Store it at room temperature - between 15°C and 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Avoid storing it in places with excess humidity, like a bathroom cabinet.
